  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Andrea Walker -- Awesome read : I found this read to be so informative and very interesting. You have truly captured the essence of being resilient and how to transition from anything that you have done for a long period of time. I found myself reading slower so I could absorb all the information. You have done an excellent job with the appropriate resources. I anticipate many soldiers will benefit from your book. Congratulations! ( Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Bill McClary -- PCIs and PCCs for transitioning Soldiers and their Families : A great resource for Soldiers transitioning to what comes next; it can be an overwhelming and intimidating process — written by someone with the experience to know. CSM(RET) Mustafa has dedicated his life to leading and caring for others, this book is just another manifestation of the types of things he chooses to do with his personal time in retirement himself — he can’t help but continue looking out for our Soldiers and their Families, it’s an indelible part of his character — it’s just who he is. A valuable read, highly recommend to any getting ready to take that blind leap of faith — consider it critical preparation… ( Reviewed in the United States on November 6, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Alex -- Great Book : Command Sergeant Major (Ret.) Mustafa’s experience as a transitioned veteran highlights the challenges many veterans face. Regardless of how long someone serves in the military, whether it is one year or 35 years, the time will come when they must leave the military. Regardless of their rank, whether a general or a private, they will transition from one phase in their life to another. I like how Command Sergeant Major (Ret.) Mustafa not only discusses the anxiety, stress, and depression such a transition may cause but how he also presents solutions and ways to address them. He also draws upon other parallels. Leaving the military is not the only transition veterans experience, and veterans are not the only ones who experience transition. With this understanding, Resilient Transition: Combating the Feelings of Stress & Anxiety by Sa’eed Mustafa is a book that I would recommend for anyone who is seeking ways to deal with changes in their lives. Resilient Transition offers a variety of techniques and tools that anyone could use to help them cope with transition. The book goes beyond addressing resiliency when transitioning. The information covered throughout the book provides a roadmap for a healthier and better lifestyle—something everyone can benefit from. For this reason, Resilient Transition earns a five-star rating. Additionally, it was well written and easy to follow. The smooth transition between chapters kept me engaged and focused while reading the book. Command Sergeant Major (Ret.) Mustafa is a dynamic and entertaining public speaker, the same goes for his writing. I look forward for his next book with much anticipation. ( Reviewed in the United States on November 14, 2021 )

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Kevin -- A Veterans “Must Read” for the ages : This book captures the essence of what military veterans go through during and after their time in uniform. Of course, everyone is different and all may not apply however, we are more alike than different. Sa’eed has place in these pages the veterans experience and have laid out a roadmap for resilient transition success. This would make a excellent gift for separating and/or retiring veterans. Well done my friend! ( Reviewed in the United States on September 14, 2021 )
